Sorry if my opinion offends anyone. That is not the intention of this post but rather a place for me to put my thoughts because where I usually go to vent seems to be of the sheeple crowd (non-action). Feel free to post your own opinions but try to keep it clean and mature.

This baby here understates the raging feelings I have had over the changes made by the TSA and how the government has yet to step in to stop the TSA power trip. The TSA’s new rules regarding body scans and pat-downs are scaring the wrong people, they are scaring their own citizens into not flying – not the terrorists or anyone looking to hurt the country. They keep mistakingly referring to 9/11 and the events that happened that day. I think everyone can agree how horrible it was, we can also agree it is very much in the past and you cannot simply run around chasing the bad guys based on what they have done, you must get in front of them and stop them before they do something they haven’t done.

None of that matters however, when you have sheeple who wholeheartedly put their faith, trust and lives into the hands of the government thinking they will take care of them and protect them and know exactly what is good for them. These people will not and cannot think for themselves nor will they ever speak up for what is either right or wrong about a system in which they are a very big part of. Until sheeple wake up, and stop letting the TSA rule the airport with molestation, sexual harrassment and perversion all under the name of national security there is a very big group of people who will not be flying the skies, or will do so with unhealthy levels of anxiety. It is our airport, our body, our Constitutional Right to Privacy:

Admendment 4: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

They are quite literally tip-toeing on a very fine line. I feel horrible for those who must go through the advanced scanners because they are 100x more powerful than x-rays, increasing your chances of cancer by that much. But I also feel bad for people like me, who are not able to pass through those scanners. I get to be pulled to the side because I have a metallic implant, a gastric neurostimulator and a jejunostomy feeding tube with mechanical pump that would both be fried, re-calibrated or otherwise rendered useless if I were to be anywhere near one of those scanners. So off to the side I go where I get to be molested, sexually abused and completely traumatized by the whole experience. There are too many horror stories that have made me decide that it simply is not worth it both on principle and for the simple fact that I refuse to subject myself to such physical and emotional abuse without seeing anyone else in the community making any sort of noise. I see endless complaints and lawsuits and until those become too much for them to ignore and they get off their stupid butts to do something about it, I’ll try to fly home. I just don’t see that happening any time soon.
